How to Handle the P.T. in the Wind Like a Pro

31. March, 2025

While the P.T. is a different breed of parawing, it requires a slightly different approach to handling in the wind. With its single-skin design, the brake settings are on the shorter side, as it needs to be trimmed within a specific window to prevent it from collapsing quickly when turning into the windward position. This, combined with the light canopy, makes for simple handling when groundhandling the parawing.
Since the P.T. is a double-surface parawing, it first requires a bit more wind to maintain control, along with specific movements, which we explain in the video. The P.T. truly shines when it starts moving, so standing in one spot and shifting it from side to side may confuse new riders. It requires some movement from the pilot to handle it effectively.
We hope this video provides useful details, helping you transition smoothly to riding in real conditions.
