Bowen from Inertia reviews the P.T. Skin

5. September, 2025

I got a solid rip on the 4m Triple Seven PT Skin — a really sweet all-around single-skin wang that compares well with other leading parawings on the market.
The unique value prop here is stability, versatility, lightweight packability, and all-around performance at a price point well below most of the rest of the class.
My comparative ratings on a 1-5 scale:
Ease of use / comfort → 5
Intuitive flying / trimming / steering → 5
Color coding → 5
Agility / Maneuvers → 5
Stability → 4 (I did notice just a little bit of ‘hunting’ when powered up, but no collapses)
Douse (collapse in hand) → 5
Stow & Pack → 5
Line length → 5 (147cm / 58in as measured, easy to douse in one go)
Line feel → 3 (the lines seem very similar to those used by Ozone for the Pocket Rocket. They’re quite soft and I did experience a couple of spontaneous line catches, although most relaunches were clean).
Relaunch / refly → 3 (see above)
Speed → 4 (very good, if not quite as fast as the fastest parawings)
Upwind angle → 4 (very good, but VMG not quite as good as the best in class)
Low end pumping, power & behavior → 5 (very good low end!!)
High end power & behavior → 5 (excellent stability, no collapse, no flutter)
Wind range → 5 (due to excellent low end and 👍🏻 high end)
Bar → 5 (really nice to have the little stub for the front hand, great to have the harness line included even if I would make the line just a little shorter)
Versatility → 5 (does it all!)
Aesthetics → 5 (the colors, look and finish are outstanding!!!)
Value/Price → 5
OVERALL → 4.6

The PT Skin’s shape and aspect ratio are similar to the Flow D-Wing and the F-One Frigate, but with only two bridle connections to the bar, leaving the center of the bar free of clutter. The canopy material is also notably light—maybe not as max-packable as BRM’s, but it’s lighter than most.
Overall performance is very much on par with the BRM Kanaha (my rating 4.6), Flysurfer POW (4.6), Ozone PR (4.5), F-One Frigate (4.7), and Flow D-Wing (4.3). Especially given that the PT Skin clocks in at only €655 / $765, this is a very very competitive wang. Bravo 777!
